Bryan Stevenson of EJI at the Legacy Museum in Montgomery, Alabama. Mr Stevenson is someone I greatly admire—this is an understatement, but I’m at a loss for words to describe my respect for him, his work, and the work of the organization he founded. He has chosen a difficult but important path and has given much of himself in the pursuit of equal justice under the law. My pictures accompanied an interview in the Washington Post Magazine (I’ll link in bio). I am grateful to Dudley Brooks for the assignment and chance to meet a hero. Though, I played it cool and (regrettably) did not have him sign my copy of his book.
